Dear Parents and Guardians,

Our Grade 6 class will be writing a Science test on Friday, November 3rd, wrapping up our unit on Biodiversity. The test will cover the following topics:

  • What biodiversity means and why it’s important

  • Habitats, communities, and ecosystems (Food Chains and Food Webs)

  • Vertebrates and invertebrates

  • Human impact on the environment

  • Endangered and invasive species

Students received a study outline last Friday, which includes key vocabulary, review notes, and practice questions. We also dedicated that class period to a review session to help prepare for the test.

I’ve attached a digital copy of the outline to this post — it includes practice questions, an answer key, and links to the videos we watched in class that students can rewatch to review.

Thank you for your continued support!
— Mr. Howard
