Hello Grade 4 Families,
As you may know, our class has been learning all about habitats, biomes, and biodiversity, and weβre excited to bring everything together with a creative hands-on project!
Students will be creating their very own habitat diorama β a small 3D scene in a box that shows a habitat and the plants and animals that live there. A diorama is like a mini model or snapshot of an environment β for example, a rainforest filled with trees, birds, and vines, or a tundra with snow, rocks, and Arctic animals.
-
We have already completed this Grade 4 Diorama Assignment Planning Sheet in class, which includes a rubric which I will be using to assess the final projects (These planning sheets are in their science binders)
-
The written paragraph portion of the project will also be completed in class.
π Due Date: Tuesday, November 10th
